Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make outward appearance more attractive without exposing a stopper and hold strength by mounting the stopper on the cylindrical part of a faucet body facing the base part inner peripheral face of a rotatably mounted water discharge pipe, and providing an arc-like guide groove on the base part inner peripheral face. SOLUTION: A water supply pipe, a hot water supply pipe, a mixing pipe 5 and a hose 8 are inserted in the inside of a faucet body 1, the mixing ratio of hot water and cool water and its discharge amount are adjusted by operation of a lever 13. A pair of upper and lower packings 15 are mounted on the lower peripheral face of the faucet body 1, and the cylindrical base part 17 of a resin-made discharge pipe 16 is fitted on the outer peripheral side of the packing 15. The discharge pipe 16 is inserted to pull the mixing pipe 5 and the hose 8. A stopper 24 is mounted on the cylindrical part 22 of the faucet body 22 facing the base part inner peripheral face of the discharge pipe 16, and an arc-like guide groove 18 is formed on the base part inner peripheral face of the discharge pipe 16. When the discharge pipe 16 is rotated, one of projection parts rotates until it abuts on the action part 25 of the stopper 24. Stress is dispersed and damage is eliminated by making the action part a new moon shape.
