To provide a water-dispersed composition capable of effectively preventing sedimentation of fine particles over a long period and having excellent dispersion stability.

This water-dispersed composition is obtained by formulating water-insoluble fine particles together with a phyllosilicate and polysaccharides with water and dispersing the resultant formulation in water. More specifically, e.g. an active ingredient compound such as a medicine, an agrochemical, an insecticide, a biocide, a pest repellent, a herbicide, a plant growth regulator or an organism proliferation inhibitor is directly used or microencapsulated to prepare the water-insoluble fine particles. The resultant fine particles are then formulated with the phyllosilicate and polysaccharides to afford the aqueous dispersion having excellent storage stability while improving persistence of efficacies and sustained release properties.
