Title:
WATER DISPERSION OF NEAR INFRARED LIGHT ABSORBING COLORING MATTER FOR DYEING TEXTILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09255890
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain the subject water dispersion safe, readily dyeable, capable of providing various fiber products with a light color, selective absorption of near infrared light, excellent heat storing properties and heat retaining properties, by dispersing a specific near infrared light absorbing coloring matter with a surfactant and adjusting the dispersion into a prescribed pH.

(A) A compound of formula I (R is H or a monofunctional organic group; X- is an anion) or a compound of formula II as a near infrared light absorbing coloring matter is dispersed in a water dispersion by (B) a surfactant such as nonionic or an anionic surfactant and the dispersion is adjusted to pH2.5-7.0 in the case in which the component A is a compound of formula I, to pH1.0-2.5 in the case in which the compound A is a compound of formula II by using (C) an acid such as a compound of formula III (R' is an alkyl). The amount of the component B is an amount corresponding to 300-50,000ppm based on the dispersion.
