To provide a water draining structure for a window glass of a vehicle capable of enlarging the size of a direct view window while the inner glass of the direct view window is prevented from attachment of water.
The water draining structure of the window glass is equipped with the window glass of whole area rising and falling type held over the direct view window consisting of an inner glass and outer glass mounted on an inner panel and outer panel of each vehicle door whose waist line is inclined down forward and able to rise and fall between the inner glass and the outer glass along a front and a rear channel-shaped guide member installed upright inside the door, a seal member attached to each guide member and forming a water draining path inside the guide member while it is in slide contact with the side of the window glass, and a splash preventing member mounted at the bottom of the window glass and preventing the water flowing down along the window glass from splashing in the direction of the inner glass.
