PURPOSE: To improve steering characteristics of a water ejecting type propelling vessel and to facilitate the shallow water navigation thereof, by mounting an auxiliary rudder plate below a rudder nozzle to make the rudder shape small.

CONSTITUTION: By the rotation of an impeller 5, water is taken from a suction port 2 in a vessel's bottom 1, flows through suction path 3, and is ejected through a nozzle 10 and a rudder nozzle 11 to propell the vessel. By manipulating a lever 13, the rudder nozzle 11 can be rotated about a shaft 32 and therefore the vessel can be turned. An auxiliary rudder plate 12 provided below the rudder nozzle 11 also can be rotated together with the nozzle 11, so that the vessel can be quickly turned.
