Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive water feed pump which is easily serviceable, and which has a self-suctionable without use of a vacuum pump.
CONSTITUTION: A first water subpassage 6 branches out from a main water passage 3 between a water source and a pump 4 connected to the main water passage 3 upstream of a discharge port 2, by way of a first selector valve 5, and is connected to a water tank 70 provided at a position where a difference in height is less between the tank 70 and the pump 4. Further, a second water subpassage 10 branches out from the main water passage 3 between the discharge port 2 and the pump 4 by way of a second selector valve 9, and is connected to an air-water separator 8. Further, a jet nozzle 11 is connected to the second water subpassage 10, being directed toward the air-water separate 8, and is connected at its vacuum suction port to a third water subpassage 12 which branches out from the main water passage 3 between the first selector valve 5 and the water source 1 and which is connected thereto with a check valve 13.
