Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water flow detector which allows easy inspection of a switch without a valve body and a shaft connected to the valve body being damaged.SOLUTION: The water flow detector comprises: a main body which includes a flow channel for fluid and is mounted to a pipe of fire-extinguishing equipment; a valve body rotatably mounted to the main body to block the flow channel; and a switch outputting a signal in response to rotation of the valve body. The switch includes: a signal generator outputting a signal when pressed; a pressed part biased in a direction to press the signal generator; a drive shaft driven by rotation of the valve body; a lever disposed rotatably around the drive shaft to separate the pressed part from the signal generator; and a transmission member rotated integrally with the drive shaft to transmit the rotation of the valve body to the lever, the lever permitting the signal generator to be pressed by the pressed part in response to the rotation of the valve body or to a user operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
