Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water flow power generator capable of efficiently using driving force due to water flow without enlarging the device itself, and a tidal current power generation method using the water flow power generator.SOLUTION: A water flow power generator 1 includes: a turbine 2 having a rotational axis of the same direction as water flow; a conical water collection member 3 provided on the same axis as the turbine 2; a plurality of guide plates 9 provided inclinedly to the axial direction on the inner wall of the water collection member 3; and a power generator 4 provided at the upper part of the turbine 2. In the water flow power generator, the inclination of the guide plate 9 to the axial direction is a reverse direction with respect to the inclination of a turbine blade 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
