Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water gate control system which enables automatic management/operation of a facility of a water gate, and ensures safe ship navigation.SOLUTION: A water gate control system includes a receiving apparatus, an image processing unit, and a control unit. The receiving apparatus receives disaster prevention information distributed from the outside. The image processing unit processes image information output from a camera which images the vicinity of a water gate. The control unit executes gate close-control of the water gate on the basis of the disaster prevention information when the gate is opened/closed, and temporarily suspends execution of the gate close-control when a ship is detected near the water gate on the basis of the image processing result from the image processing unit.
