To provide a water gate monitor support system that reduces a burden placed on an observer and can suppress occurrence of an accident due to a human error.
A water gate monitor support system includes a water gate monitor device that is communicably connected to a weather prediction device, display devices and an image processor and monitors a plurality of water gates and circumstances in the vicinities of respective ones of the plurality of water gates. The display devices are allocated to the respective water gates, specify at least one identification number out of the identification numbers for identifying the respective water gates and cause a video of a photographing section installed at the water gate of the identification number specified to be preferentially displayed on a screen. The water gate monitor device predicts variations of water levels in the vicinities of the respective water gates for each of the water gates and determines whether or not values of the water levels predicted exceed a preset threshold value. Further, the water gate monitor device transmits identification number information indicating the identification numbers allocated to the water gates associated with the values of the water levels determined to exceed the threshold value to the display devices.
