To provide a cold/hot water heater capable of preventing a decrease of a temperature in the heat accumulation tank (accumulated heat quantity) by the fluid of a low temperature to thereby reduce an energy loss, when switching from the air-conditioning operation to a heat accumulation operation.
The cold/hot water heater 10 includes: a refrigerant circuit 2 having a compressor 21, refrigerant to fluid heat exchanger 22, pressure reducing means 23, and refrigerant to air heat exchanger 24, which are annularly connected; a fluid circuit 5 having a circulation means 54, refrigerant to fluid heat exchanger 22, flow path switching valve 60, and load side heat exchanger 53, which are annularly connected; and a control unit 4 for controlling the flow path switching valve 60. When there is a request for changing from an air conditioning operation to a heat accumulation operation and a fluid temperature detected by the temperature sensor is less than a predetermined temperature, the air-conditioning operation is continued, and the flow path switching valve 60 is switched when the fluid temperature is the predetermined temperature or more.
