Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of minimizing increase of flow passage resistance by widely securing a flow passage area from a fan case to a water heater body, even in a case where a check valve is provided between the water heater body and the fan case, and capable of securing airtightness with a minimum number of components.SOLUTION: A check valve 5 is provided in a second flow passage 2 as an upstream side flow passage of a water heater body 20. On a second connection end surface 23 of the second flow passage 2, formed is a second step part 22 having such a shape that a flange piece 51 of the check valve 5 can be fitted therein. Provided is an annular packing 6 having an outer peripheral edge larger than the outer edge of the flange piece 51 and an inner peripheral edge smaller than the outer edge. On at least one of a first connection end surface 13 of a first flow passage 1 and the second connection end surface 23 of the second flow passage 2, formed is a first step 21 into which the annular packing 6 can be fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
