Abstract:
To improve thermal efficiency of a secondary heat exchanger of a water heater.SOLUTION: A water heater 1 includes: a primary heat exchanger 10; a secondary heat exchanger 20 disposed on an upper side of the primary heat exchanger 10; and a passage member 50 connecting the primary heat exchanger 10 and the secondary heat exchanger 20 and introducing a combustion exhaust gas discharged from the primary heat exchanger 10 into the secondary heat exchanger 20. In the water heater 1, the secondary heat exchanger 20 includes: a plurality of heat transfer pipes 21; and a casing 22 in which the plurality of heat transfer pipes 21 is disposed. A gas inlet 28 is formed on a rear wall part 23C of the casing 22, and the passage member 50 is mounted to a peripheral edge part of the gas inlet 28. The casing 22 includes a drifting member 32 for inhibiting the combustion exhaust gas introduced from the gas inlet 28 into the casing 22 from flowing upward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
