Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater showing a small fluctuation of temperature of discharged hot water in an initial stage of starting discharging hot water supply at the time of an intermittent use and an initial stage of starting discharging hot water supply after a long unused time. SOLUTION: The water heater A has temperature sensors 61, 62 and 63 for deriving quantity of heat of hot water residing in a hot water passage 22 provided in the hot water passage 22 of a heat exchanger 2. In the initial stage of starting the hot water supply, a temperature control valve 42 is subjected to a feed forward control effected by a control circuit 5 to such a flow rate as to regulate temperature T3 of discharged hot water to a set hot water temperature Ts on the basis of the derived quantity of the heat and temperature T2i of feed water. An initial stage rotational speed of a pump 31 is subjected to a feed forward control to obtain such a circulation flow rate as to regulate temperature T2o of hot water after the heat exchanger to a target temperature T2s after the heat exchanger (=set hot water temperature Ts+predetermined temperature α) on the basis of the temperature T3 of the feed water and temperature T1i of a fluid for heat storage.
