The water heater has the inner container for putting liquid in, an outer case, a lid main body attached to the opening of the inner container, a handle, a spout, and a water amount display device. The water amount display device is provided in the vertical direction between the inner container and the outer case, and two connection parts are provided in the vertical direction on the inner side. Two openings are provided in the vertical direction in the inner container, a sealing member is stuck respectively to the two openings, and the two connection parts are attached to the sealing member. The outer side of the water amount display device is abutted to a water amount display window provided in the vertical direction on the outer case, and the water amount display device is turned to a part of the outer case.
