The water-insoluble electroconductive polyaniline composition in which a polyaniline has at least one resin selected from a cross-linked phenolsulfonic acid novolak resin and a cross-linked naphtholsulfonic acid novolak resin as a dopant. The water-insoluble electroconductive polyaniline composition can be formed as a film by coating the top surface of a substrate with an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble electroconductive polyaniline composition having the resin as the dopant and a multi-functional cross-linking agent, heating the aqueous solution coating thereon and cross-linking the resin.
