Abstract:
This invention provides a moisture-harvesting device that can remove foreign matter such as bacteria, viruses, and dust from atmospheric air taken in by an atmospheric-air intake device and harvest moisture from said atmospheric air. Said moisture-harvesting device is provided with the following: the aforementioned atmospheric-air intake device (2); an atmospheric-water-vapor converter (1) that is provided with a mechanism (8) for reducing the pressure of the atmospheric air taken in by the atmospheric-air intake device (2) and also has an internal cooling unit (9) that cools the taken-in atmospheric air to extract the water vapor therefrom; and a water outlet via which the water obtained by the atmospheric-water-vapor converter (1) is extracted. An air filter (7) that is capable of removing foreign matter such as bacteria, viruses, and dust from the atmospheric air taken in by the atmospheric-air intake device (2) is provided upstream of said atmospheric-air intake device (2). As such, moisture can be harvested from the atmospheric air taken in by the atmospheric-air intake device with foreign matter such as bacteria, viruses, and dust removed from said atmospheric air.
