Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet propulsion assist type propeller propulsion ship allowing reduction of a rear width of a hull while securing sufficient propulsion power.SOLUTION: A water jet propulsion assist type propeller propulsion ship includes: a hull 2; a pair of screw propeller propulsion devices 4 having propeller shafts 18 extending in the longitudinal direction of the hull 2 and screw propellers 19 mounted at rear ends of the propeller shafts 18; and a plurality of water jet propulsion devices 3 having water introduction ports 11 which are opened at the ship bottom of the hull 2 so as to introduce water from the outside of the hull 2 and impellers 14 for jetting the introduced water. The plurality of water jet propulsion devices 3 are arranged between a pair of screw propellers 19 in the horizontal direction of the hull 2.
