Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water jet propulsion device having a four-propeller four-shaft structure and suitable for complex steering to approach or leave the pier.
CONSTITUTION: A four-propeller four-shaft water jet propelled ship is control by a steering device 3 provided with a joy stick 1 and a rotary dial 2, and two of four propellers are arranged at the right and left symmetrical positions of the stern end respectively. A reverser mechanism R and a deflector mechanism D are provided on each of a pair of inside main propellers 5, 6 within two pairs of water jet propellers on the starboard and port. A reverser mechanism R is provided on each of a pair of outside booster propellers 7, 8.
