Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet propulsion device to change a tilt angle in a desired relation with a steering angle and simplify a link mechanism between an operation handle and a steering nozzle.
SOLUTION: A steering nozzle 6 is horizontally and vertically rotatably mounted on the rear end part of a fixed nozzle 4 through which fluid boosted by a rotting impeller 2 is delivered. A guide member 10 is arranged at one of the steering nozzle 6 and the fixed nozzle 4. A guide surface 9a making slide contact with the guide member 10 and vertically rotating the steering nozzle 6 in linkage with horizontal rotation of the steering nozzle 6 is arranged at the other end.
