PURPOSE: To simplify the regulation of the supply quantity of polishing material by providing a control device to control a driving mechanism according to the machining conditions of a workpiece for regulating the opening rate of an opening section.
CONSTITUTION: Even in the case of alteration in the machining conditions of a piercing and a cutting process for a workpiece, not to mention the case of alteration in machining conditions such as the thickness or material of the workpiece, a control device 11 regulates the opening rates of the opening sections 6a, 6b of a polishing material tank 6 through a driving mechanism (a servomotor) 9 and a valve mechanism 7 according to the above altered machining conditions. The supply quantity of time polishing material to be mixed with liquid can therefore be automatically regulated.
