Abstract:
To provide a water jetting apparatus with which the speed of a water jet loom can further be increased without causing reduction in quality of woven fabrics.
A cylinder 30 is screwed to a pump housing 12 constituting a weft inserting pump 29. A piston 32 is slidably held in the cylinder 30. The piston 32 is connected and fixed to a plunger 14. A compression chamber 35 is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder 30 and the outer peripheral surface of the piston 32 and between seal rings 33 and 34 attached to the cylinder 30 and the piston 32. An air pressure source 36 is connected through an air pipe conduit 37 to the compression chamber 35.
