In a water discharging appliance for water leakage connected to a water discharge pipe 4 upright, an air exhaust port 11 and an air intake port 12 of an air valve 10 having an exhaust valve part 8 or the exhaust valve part and an intake valve part 9 are respectively connected to the water discharge pipe 4. If negative pressure is generated in a piping system during defective water stop, or if the air valve 10 is normal and the intake valve part 9 is operated, Drainage is discharged from the reverse-flowing water discharging hole 7, and reverse flow is completely prevented even when drainage in the water discharge pipe 4 flows in the reverse direction.
