Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lead rainwater on a hatch into an inner seal and prevent water from entering a room by fitting, in an integrated form, a gutter whose end is installed on the car-body side panel, to weather strip of glass hatchback having grooves to gather rainwater.
CONSTITUTION: A wether strip 1 is fitted in the groove of a glass hatchback 6 which is installed on the car body panel 15 with hinges 16a, 16b, forming a gutter 3 in a position at the back of the hinges. The gutter 3, the other end of which is fitted to the car body panel 15, allows the rainwater on the hatch, gathered by the groove 7 to flow through it, thereby securely leading the rainwater up to an inner seal 17, preventing rainwater from entering the car room.
