PURPOSE: To eliminate a water circulating facility by so controlling a makeup water supply system as to stably and effectively maintain a water level at a predetermined level or more in a water sealed tank of a water sealing type bottom ash conveyor of a lower part of a boiler.
CONSTITUTION: A makeup water supply system is formed of two or more lines, and control functions are incorporated in the lines to control water levels. It is preferable to incorporate water level control functions of different types in the respective lines and further preferable to incorporate monitoring of operating states and warning functions at the time of an emergency. Thus, reliability of the water level control is enhanced, a remote operation is performed, and a water circulating facility is obviated thereby to cut down a cost and to obtain a space under the boiler.
