Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the correct water level after the shortest standby time suitable for environment and conditions under which a bath boiler is set by a method wherein the output of a pressure sensor is monitored and the value of the output of the pressure sensor is brought in to detect the water level of a bathtub after a detection that the output is stabilized in an allowable range.
SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 45 is provided in a circuit having a hot water feed solenoid valve 34 and a circulation circuit coupled to detect water level in a bathtub 47. After a circulation pump 17 is stopped or the hot water feed solenoid valve 34 is closed, the output waveform of the pressure sensor 45 is monitored and taken in after the output becomes stable within an allowable value. In addition, the output is taken in regardless of the operating condition of the circulation pump 17 and the hot water feed solenoid valve 34 when the output of the pressure sensor 45 is always stable within the allowable range. This enables detection of a correct water level constantly in the shortest time without depending on the environment and conditions under which a bath boiler is set.
