To provide a water level recovery observation device capable of shortening the time required for a field hydraulic test and effectively observing water level recovery even for a low-permeability medium.
This device comprises one pair of packers which are provided to the upper part and the lower part of a connecting pipe, respectively and selectively stuck to the inner surface of a bore hole, a supply pipe which supplies expansion fluid inside the one pair of packers, a guide pipe which is communicated to a sampling space and guides the fluid in the sampling space outside the bore hole, and an observation pipe which has a smaller section diameter than the guide pipe, is communicated to the guide pipe and supplies a channel through which the fluid in the sampling space flows.
