Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water lubrication thrust bearing, a bearing device using the water lubrication thrust bearing and a rotary machine in which an eccentric abutment between a bearing pad and a thrust collar can be prevented.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a water lubrication thrust bearing 1 in which water is used as lubricant agent and a thrust collar 106 integrally rotated with a rotating shaft 105 is rotatably supported, there are provided a stationary disc 2 slide contacted with the thrust collar 106 through the lubricant agent and several bearing pads 3 arranged side-by-side at a front surface of the stationary disc 2, the bearing pads 3 comprise a base member 33, a first elastic layer 32 overlapped at the front surface of the base member 33, and a sliding contact layer 31 overlapped at the front surface of the first elastic layer 32 and oppositely facing against the thrust collar 106, and the first elastic layer 32 comprises a thick wall part 32a formed at an upstream side in a rotating direction [a] of the thrust collar 106 and a thin wall part 32b formed at a downstream side in the rotating direction [a] and thinner than the thick wall part 32a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
