Abstract:
To provide a water meter capable of improving workability with respect to a piping installation and of suppressing instrument errors to the minimum.SOLUTION: A water meter includes a water meter body 3 and a shut-off valve 4, so that the water meter body 3 and the shut-off valve 4 can be constructed as one object, which improves workability. In the water meter, a second water inlet passage 17B of a water inlet passage 17 is inclined in a radial direction at a junction point with respect to a storage chamber 8, so that the tap water entering the storage chamber 8 is guided in the direction in which a rotation part 10A of a meter 10 is rotated forward, and the rotation part 10A is rotated forward. Water is output by an output passage 35 which is formed by expanding a primary side communicated with the storage chamber 8 along a circumferential direction of the storage chamber 8, so that flow of the tap water in the storage chamber 8 is rectified, and the tap water is discharged by the storage chamber 8 while suppressing head loss.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
