In this water mill, the plurality of blades perform the unrelated orbital motion around the plurality of vertical axes. The joining cable such as a chain connecting between the blades is supported by sprockets installed on shafts. In this case, however, the joining cable between the shafts is deflected by the self-weights of the blades and the joining cable. In a method, the joining cable is received by the rollers to suppress the deflection. Alternatively, the weight of the blades is supported by the lift of a hydrofoil moving in connection with the blades and the joining cable.
