Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a water and oil repellent consisting of a novel perfluoroalkylvinyl polymer, having low surface-activity and affinity with other compounds and useful as non-tacky agent, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The aimed water and oil repellent consisting of a perfluoroalkylvinyl polymer containing (A) constituent units expressed by -CHRfCH2- (Rf is 5W21C-perfluoroalkyl) and (B) constituent units represented by -CHYCHZ- or the formula [Y is OR1, OCOR1 or COOR1; Z is H, or COOR2 (R1 and R2 are 1W18C alkyl) (in case Y is OR1 or OCOR1, Z is H); R is 1W18C alkyl].
