Abstract:
To provide a water paint composition which can sustain a water repellent effect for a longer period of time compared with conventional water paint compositions having a water repellent effect.
The water paint composition comprises an acrylic resin and a paraffin wax as a water repellent. The composition can further comprise fats and oils and an alkyd resin. The content of the water repellent is preferably in the range of 0.01-5.0 wt%.
