Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the water-tightness of the jointing section by setting a linear device on the jointing section of new and old concrete, to remove the device from after the concrete is hardened, and to form a continuous cavity, and by pressing grout material into the cavity section for filling the role of a packing.
CONSTITUTION: On the jointing surface of old concrete 3, a linear device 1 provided with an air tube having the surface covered with a network or a heating wire wound up with thermo-plastic foamable resin is set. After that, new concrete 5 is placed, and after it is hardened, the air tube is drawn out or the foamable resin is fused, and the linear device 1 is removed from, and a continuous cavity is formed. Then, into the cavity, grout material is pressed, and it is hardened for filling the role of a packing. As a result, leakage water can be certainly prevented fro being generated from the jointing surface of the successive pours.
