Title:
WATER-PROOF GLOVE AND WRIST-CLOSING DEVICE AND WATER- PROOF TABI (JAPANESE SOCKS) AND ANKLE-CLOSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001303325
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable a patient to use a glove or a tabi, when the patient injures the finger or foot, treated in a hospital and then covered with a bandage to increase the volume of the injured part, while a conventional glove or tabi can not be used therein.

This water-proof glove or tabi is needed when a water-proof glove or tabi into which fingers can be inserted can not be used. An elastic band (6) is mounted at a part contacting with a wrist or ankle, and a resin or rubber-based sheet is used for the waterproof of the glove or tabi itself. When the glove and the wrist are closed or when the tabi and the ankle are closed to prevent the invasion of water, wide medicated adhesive tapes (17, 26) are simultaneously attached to the glove and the skin of the wrist, respectively, or to the tabi and the surface of the ankle, respectively, to prevent the penetration of water.
