Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a warm up operation, by fixing a diaphragm spring to a pump shaft, driven by a V belt pulley, to be actuated by a thermostat clutch.
CONSTITUTION: A pump impeller 6 is driven by a V belt pulley 3, and a diaphragm spring clutch 1 is mounted. A thermostat rod 11, which provides a thermostat 12 to belong, is movably mounted in the axial direction controlling a rotary speed of the impeller 6. Accordingly, the reduction of warm up operation of a water pump can be promoted by controlling the speed of the impeller.
