Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water pump in which the invasion of water to a bearing part is perfectly prevented, a large space is unnecessary, and the volume can be made compact.
CONSTITUTION: A bottomed cylinder part 1a is formed in a housing 1 in which water flows, a rotary shaft in which an impeller 2 positioned outside the cylinder part is fitted to one end and a driven rotor 4 made of magnetic material is fixed on the center part, is arranged within the cylinder part 1a, and dynamic pressure bearings 5,6 are arranged on both sides of the driven rotor between the cylinder part 1a and the rotary shaft. A pulley 7 is arranged on the outer circumference of the cylinder part 1a of the housing 1 through rolling bearings 10,11, and magnets arranged alternately N-pole with S-pole in the circumferential direction are arranged on the inner diameter part of the pulley 7 so as to correspond to the driven rotor 4.
