Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost effective water cleaning cartridge which allows efficient and effective use of the water cleaning performance of both of the filter cloth mounted to cover the outer peripheral surface of the water cleaning cartridge and the filter media housed within the water cleaning cartridge to the prescribed period. SOLUTION: This water cleaning cartridge 3 has a filter section 200 which is formed to a columnar shape and cylindrical filter cloth 30 which is mounted to cover the outer peripheral surface of the filter section 200. The water passes the filter cloth 30 and the filter section 200 from the outer peripheral surface side of the filter cloth 30, by which the water is cleaned in this cartridge. The filter cloth 30 consists of one or plural sheet-like filter cloth pieces 30a and both ends of the filter cloth pieces 30a are provided with detaining parts 15 and 16. The detaining parts 15 and 16 are engaged with the filter cloth, by which the outer peripheral surface of the filter section 200 is covered and the filter section is freely attachably and detachably mounted.
