Abstract:
This invention provides the following: a filter device that can remove all foreign material from water such that said water can even be used as drinking water or the like; and a water-purification device that contains said filter device. Said filter device (4) is provided with the following: a first filter (4a) that removes solid precipitates from water; a second filter (4b) that removes microbes, organic chemicals, other chemicals, and the like and from said water; a third filter (4c) that removes off-odors from the water; a fourth filter (4d) that has a reverse-osmosis membrane; and a fifth filter (4e) that, at least, has the ability to add calcium to stabilize the pH of the water. The abovementioned water-purification device is provided with the following: a tank (8), downstream of the aforementioned filter device (4), that stores water that has passed therethrough; and a water-dispensing unit (19a, 19b) that dispenses water from the tank (8).
