Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier capable of supporting a support plate for granular activated carbon simply without exerting effect on the pressure- resistant strength of a housing.
SOLUTION: This water purifier has a housing 21 constituted by connecting cup-shaped upper and lower housings 27, 29 in a detachable manner and at least granular activated carbon is housed in the housing 21 to be held to the internal space of the housing 21 by a guide plate 53 and a leg part 53b is attached provided to the guide plate 53 and the receiving seat 29c of the leg part 53b is formed to the lower housing 29. The engaging part 27b for the guide plate 53 is attached to the upper housing 27 and, at a time of the assembling of the housing 21, the guide plate 53 is grasped by the engaging part 27b of the upper housing 27 and the receiving seat 29c of the lower housing 29.
