To provide a water purifying apparatus capable of protecting the flow rate detection part of a chemical liquid injection device from an impure component, preventing the clogging of the chemical liquid injection device, and preventing trouble that raw water, free of a chemical liquid, flows in a filter tank.
The flow rate detection part 43 of the chemical liquid injection device 42 is provided on the way of the flow channel communicating with water supply equipment 36 from the outflow pipe 5 of the filter tank 1 to detect the flaw rate of the raw water, a chemical liquid injection part 45 is provided on the downstream side of a switch valve 25 and the chemical liquid is injected in the raw water supplied from a well 30 in the amount corresponding to the amount of water detected by the flow rate detection part 43. When performing backwashing operation, the clear water in a water tank 38 is supplied into the filter tank 1 by switching switch valves 25, 26 and 27 so as to flow backward to wash a filter medium 2 and the treated water from the filter medium 2 is discharged from a discharge port 21. When performing washing operation, the clean water in the water tank 38 is supplied into the filter tank 1 in a forward direction by switching switch valves 26, 27 and 28 to wash the filter medium 2 and the treated water from the filter medium 2 to be discharged from a discharge port 22.
