To provide a water purifying device which has a high radioactive substance removing effect (decontamination effect) though it is small in size and is suitable for use in facilities of general houses, schools or the like.
The water purifying device 1 includes a plurality of filtering units 3. Each of the filtering units 3 stores a filtering medium for filtering pollutants in liquid, change a tilting direction to a horizontal direction alternately, and are connected in a vertically multi-stage state. As an embodiment of the invention, each filtering unit includes an inflow port into which the liquid flows and an outflow port from which the liquid flows out, and preferably a flow path connecting to the outflow part from the inflow port is formed in a meandering shape in each filtering unit.
