Abstract:

To provide a water purifying system for providing the clean water of excellent quality by surely removing algae such as blue-green algae at a low cost.

This water purifying system for purifying raw water taken from a water source S by water purifying equipment 1 comprises: an algae detector 102 for detecting the generation of the algae or a prescribed index value indicating that on the upstream side of the water purifying equipment; a judgement means 100 for determining the necessity of algae inactivating treatment on the basis of the detected result of the algae detection means 102; and an algae treating apparatus 4 for performing the algae inactivating treatment in the water purifying equipment 1 corresponding to the judged result of the judgement means.
