Title:
WATER QUALITY CLEANING DEVICE IN WHICH WOODY CARBONIZATION MATERIAL IRRADIATED WITH LIGHT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003320243
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for utilizing a woody carbonization material enhancing a function by irradiation with light and to simultaneously provide a method for reducing a problem of biological waste.

The woody carbonization material such as charcoal may be only irradiated with light. Although it is extremely simple, the function of the woody carbonization material can be enhanced merely by the combination. Bincho charcoal (white charcoal) and black charcoal on the market are not used, as they are, but they are used after they are once subjected to a high temperature treatment at 1,150°C in a muffle furnace for approximately one hour. Thereby, the function of the woody carbonization material is enhanced. This principle is widely applicable for the water quality cleaning device, a water cleaning device, a deodorizing device or the like. This phenomenon is possibly presumed facts that a root of a plant absorbs various heavy metals from soil and which are accumulated in the part on ground and that in the process of carbonization, they are converted to a metal oxide semiconductor having a photocatalyst function, and that in the process of releasing a moisture content in an organ of the plant (carbonization), the concentration is enhanced.
