The water quality control system 10 for the sewage disposal plants has a control center 12 to which the operating information and water quality information from the plural sewage disposal plants are inputted and a field laboratory 13 which outputs the control instruction information by each of the respective sewage disposal plants 11 in accordance with the operating information and water quality information from the control center 12. A person in charge of the water quality is stationed at all times in the field laboratory 13 and controls the formation of the operating instruction information. The operating instruction information formed in the field laboratory 13 is outputted from the control center 12 to the respective sewage disposal plants 11.
