Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water quantity controller with which the quantity of water requested from the nozzle top ends of plural fire extinguishing hoses can be automatically supplied from one pump.
CONSTITUTION: When supplying water from a pump 1 of a fire truck I to plural fire hoses 2a-2n, the quantity of water to be discharged required for nozzle top ends 3a-3n of the respective fire hoses 2a-2n is transmitted to audio receivers 5a-5n by audio oscillators 4a-4n with the water in the fire hoses 2a-2n as a medium, and a water quantity signal at such a time is processed by an optimum water discharge data setting device 6 and a discharge water quantity controller 7. Thus, the quantity of water to be discharged from the pump 1 is controlled, and valves 8a-8n for controlling the quantity of water to be supplied to the respective fire hoses 2a-2n are controlled.
