Abstract:

To provide a structure by which staying water scattered in a wide area can be efficiently pushed away, absorbed, and retained by a comparatively small power by anybody in the comfortable posture without touching the water and regardless of seasons, and the retained water can be easily squeezed away.

A plurality of cylindrical water retaining bodies 2 are arranged side by side on an outer periphery. The diameters of the water retaining bodies 2 increase from the end parts toward the center part. Both side faces and outer peripheral surfaces of the retaining bodies 2 are covered with net-like bodies to obtain water retaining units 1. A pipe 3 is provided with a plurality of water retaining units 1 continuously connected in a manner of contacting with the adjacent units. Bearings 4, 4 are mounted on both ends of the pipe 3. A shaft 5 is extended between the bearings 4, 4 to form a water-absorbing roller 11. Front ends of hanging pieces 9, 9 hanging from both ends of a horizontal bar 7 fitted to a front end of a gripping bar 6 are rotatably journaled to projecting parts 10, 10 at both ends projecting from the bearings 4, 4 of the shaft 5 respectively.
