Abstract:
To provide a water repellency detector capable of detecting water repellency with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle controller 20 has a water repellency determining unit 23 that determines the degree of water repellency of glass based on the transition of a speed of a vehicle 100 and an amount of raindrops. The on-vehicle controller 20 determines that the degree of water repellency is high when the decrease in the amount of raindrops increases as the speed of the vehicle 100 increases. A movement amount of raindrops 11a can be acquired from the transition of the amount of raindrops detected by a rain sensor 12. That is, while the vehicle 100 is traveling at high speed, the greater the decrease in the amount of raindrops is, the greater the amount of movement is. Therefore, the on-vehicle control device 20 determines that the degree of water repellency is high when the decrease in the amount of raindrops increases as the speed of the vehicle 100 increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
