To provide a water repellent agent with high water repellency and which has both high transparency (gloss) and high strength after coating of the repellent agent.
The water repellent agent comprises a silicone oil, fine particles, a binder for fine particles, an aqueous solvent and water. In addition, a method for producing the water repellent agent, an article coated with the water repellent agent, and a car washing machine using the water repellent agent.
