Abstract:

To provide a water-resistant agent of recroding paper for ink jet or the like excellent in light-resistance as well as water resistance.

This water resistant agent composition includes a cationic polymer in which one or more kinds among monomer components are polymerizable compound having polymerizable groups and cationic nitrogen atoms in a molecule, and a water-soluble ultraviolet-absorbing agent. As the preferable cationic polymer, the homopolymer or the copolymer of cationically activated compounds such as diallyl ammonium, (meth)allyl amine, (meth)acrylic amino allyl ester or (meth)acrylic amino alkyl amide ie exemplified. As the preferable water-soluble ultraviolet-absorber, a benzophenone-based compound is exemplified.
