Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a non-metallic inorganic water-resistant refractory article such as pollution-free concrete and tile free from the generation and proliferation of microorganisms such as bacteria, molds and algae, a gelatinous substance and iron rust.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic ion such as silver, copper or zinc ion is used as an antibacterial agent having antibacterial performance and supported on calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, ceramics, etc. The product is further compounded with zinc oxide whisker having tetrapod-like three-dimensional single crystal structure to obtain the objective non-metallic inorganic water- resistant refractory article containing the antibacterial and rust-proofing agent.
